Greenhouse Management (Microcredential)
The Greenhouse Management Microcredential prepares students to enter areas of the agricultural industry that rely on plant production in a controlled environment.
The microcredential focuses on critical knowledge for the greenhouse biologist, including but not limited to: plant structure and genetics, growth and development, 植物营养, and other environmental conditions that impact plant productivity.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Greenhouse Management microcredential, students will be able to:
- Discuss plant morphology and anatomy as they pertain to plant growth and plant lifecycles.
- Explain the physical requirements of the greenhouse that are necessary for efficient plant growth.
- Manipulate the physical conditions within the greenhouse to achieve a desirable impact on plant growth.
- Diagnose and correct plant problems caused by nutritional and/or environmental stress.
- Plan and schedule crops to meet critical target dates for harvesting.
